Oregon has a particular kind of loud.

It is not always yelling. Sometimes it is a drum kit in a basement off Hawthorne, boots drying by the door in Eugene, a rain jacket over a band tee in Portland, or somebody in Bend acting like a trailhead is a personality test. ORAF carries that whole unruly state mood in four letters.

This one is for the people who love Oregon without needing it sanded down into a travel brochure. Coast people, valley people, mountain people, desert people. Astoria fog, Cannon Beach wind, Salem backroads, Corvallis house shows, Hood River gear piles, Medford heat, Sisters dust, Ashland opinions, and a hundred small towns where everyone knows which gas station has the better snacks.

Strange Allies built Oregon Loud for the ones who know the state is more than moss and postcards. It is union talk, old logging towns, protest signs in the rain, college football Saturdays, skate spots, food carts, thrift stores, river days, wildfire smoke, record shops, and neighbors who have strong feelings about everything from coffee to land use.

The hat comes as a structured snapback or trucker hat, unstructured dad hat, and knit beanie, because Oregon does not stay in one lane. It moves from bar patio to mountain road, from campus walk to farmers market, from late-night drive to early ferry, from muddy trail to loud little room with a busted PA.

ORAF means Oregon As Fuck, but it also sounds like somebody refusing to shrink their home into something polite. It is for locals, returners, transplants who earned their place by listening first, and anyone who carries the Pacific Northwest with a little grin and a little weather damage.

For the kid who grew up near I-5 exits and still knows the river roads. For the Portland expat explaining why the rain is different. For the coast worker, the Bend climber, the Eugene punk, the Salem family, the Oregon Ducks loudmouth, the Beavers loyalist, and every person who hears PNW and immediately starts correcting the room.
