Copyright & DMCA Policy

Strange Gang respects the intellectual property rights of others and is committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This policy explains how we handle copyright infringement claims and the process for submitting and responding to DMCA takedown notices.

I. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content on www.strangegang.com infringes your copyright, you may submit a written takedown notice to our designated DMCA agent. To be valid under the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following:

1. Your contact information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the work you claim has been infringed (e.g., a link to the original, or a clear description).
3. Identification of the infringing material: The specific URL(s) or location(s) on our website where the allegedly infringing content appears.
4. A statement of good faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A declaration of accuracy: A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
6. Your signature: A physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices may not be acted upon. Submitting a notice does not guarantee that content will be removed.

II. Our Response to Valid Notices

Upon receiving a complete and valid DMCA notice, Strange Gang will:

• Review the claim promptly and in good faith.
• Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material if the claim appears valid.
• Notify the user who posted the content, where reasonably practicable.

Strange Gang reserves the right to make the final determination on whether content will be removed.

III. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:

1. Your contact information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
2. Identification of the removed material: A description of the content that was removed and its location before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Consent to jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Strange Gang may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice.
5. Your signature: A physical or electronic signature.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, Strange Gang will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us within 10–14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the removed content at our discretion.

IV. Designated DMCA Agent

All DMCA notices and counter-notifications should be submitted to Strange Gang via our contact page.

V. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Strange Gang has adopted a policy of terminating accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

VI. Misrepresentation

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly makes material misrepresentations in a takedown notice or counter-notification may be held liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

VII. Changes to This Policy

Strange Gang may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date at the top.
