Chicago made us, but now we’re full-time nomads making art and products that espouse our beliefs in human rights and social justice. We design things for the communities we come from and the ones we fight alongside, with a portion of sales donated to causes we support. We’re stubborn, loud, and allergic to neutrality. No fascists. Strange Gang made this mug for the part of your day that happens before the street. The quiet five minutes. The shaking hands. The phone check. The plan forming in your head while the kettle screams. You do not need motivation posters. You need a signal that says: you are not alone, and you are not imagining the pressure.

Northern Cardinal Rebel Alliance is a protest design, straight up anti-fascist, for people who show up against ICE and for immigrant rights, equality, and community defense. This is for the folks who donate, organize, drive, translate, film, babysit, cook, and keep the whole thing stitched together with stubborn love. Not glamorous. Not optional.

The emblem is a northern cardinal with wings raised inside a rebel circle. Cardinal energy is loud by nature. Bright red, impossible to ignore, posted up like it owns the tree. We turned that into a symbol for seven states that share the bird: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia. A little interstate connection for people who are done feeling isolated.

You can picture it in Chicago apartments and Indianapolis breakrooms. On countertops in Louisville and Lexington. In Charlotte, Raleigh, and Durham kitchens where the group chat never sleeps. In Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati where somebody is always hosting the planning meeting. In Richmond and Norfolk where you keep your keys by the door because you might have to leave fast. In Charleston and Huntington where the solidarity is stubborn and local.

And yeah, the sports universe is part of the language of those cities. Bears and Colts households. Pacers fans. Kentucky Wildcats diehards. Tar Heels and Blue Devils rivals. Browns and Bengals chaos. Cavaliers pride. Virginia Cavaliers energy. West Virginia Mountaineers grit. Big crowds, big feelings, big loyalty. Take that same loyalty and spend it on people.
