Description

North Cascades National Park turns lakes turquoise from glacial flour and turns people into repeat visitors who cannot quite explain the pull, and this women's baby tee gets it. Distressed varsity lettering arches North Cascades across the chest, Washington stamped below it in a worn rectangular block. The cracked, faded print looks like it already knows where it has been.

For women who drove Highway 20 and pulled over more times than planned, hiked into the Cascades and came out quieter than they went in, or stood at Diablo Lake and genuinely could not believe the color was real. The Most Underrated Range

The water at Diablo Lake is turquoise in a way that looks edited. Rock flour from glaciers suspends in the water and catches the light and produces a color that has no business existing in Washington state, or anywhere, and yet there it is. You stop the car. You take seventeen photos. None of them are accurate. You stand there for longer than you planned and still leave feeling like you did not quite finish looking.

That is the North Cascades experience. North Cascades National Park is one of the least visited national parks in the lower 48 and it contains over 300 glaciers and peaks so sharp and vertical they earned the nickname the American Alps, and somehow most people drive right past it on the way somewhere else.

The people who stop are the ones this tee is for.

The Maple Pass Loop is the kind of hike that gets name-dropped by people who do not casually name-drop hikes. Cascade Pass sits in the middle of some of the most dramatic terrain in the state. Ross Lake stretches into Canada and barely anyone talks about it.
