Description

Mt. Rainier has a way of showing up on the horizon and making everything else feel smaller, and this women's baby tee gives that energy a place to live. Distressed varsity lettering arches Mt. Rainier across the chest, with Washington stamped below in a worn rectangular block. The print is cracked and faded in all the right ways, athletic and broken-in.

This is for women who hiked through Paradise when the wildflowers were doing too much, walked sections of the Wonderland Trail, or simply drove up to Sunrise and felt the scale of Mount Rainier National Park rearrange something. Wear it fitted at true size or size up for a looser feel. Available in black, Kelly green, and navy blue. A souvenir that travels as well as the memory, and a great gift.

Automatic donations to related charities

Fair ask. We’ve been creating anti-fascist and progressive art for over 25 years. Chicago made us, but now we’re full-time nomads making art and products that espouse our beliefs in human rights and social justice. We design things for the communities we come from and the ones we fight alongside, with a portion of sales donated to causes we support. We’re stubborn, loud, and allergic to neutrality. No fascists. No excuses.

Most of our items are available in a wide range of sizes. Additionally, most items are available in various styles. If you see a T-shirt design you like and want it on a hoodie, check the hoodies section or use the search bar. You can also customize the style and color of most designs in the custom section of our website.

Feel free to contact us if you can't find what you're looking for, and we'll do our best to make it happen.

We donate $1 of each item sold to non-profits and organizations supporting progressive, humanitarian, and justice-oriented causes around the world. All donations are automatically calculated and transferred to our charity partner every month to ensure compliance and timely processing.

14,000 Feet of Yes

People in Seattle and Tacoma have a phrase they use on clear days. They say the mountain is out. Not a mountain. The mountain. Because when Rainier appears above the cloud line it takes over the entire sky and everyone in the region instinctively looks up and feels something they cannot quite name but recognize immediately.

That is Mount Rainier National Park before you even enter the gate. It announces itself from 100 miles away and it does not apologize for the disruption.

Strange Allies made this tee for the women who went closer. Who drove through Ashford and up to Paradise and stood in subalpine meadows so dense with wildflowers in late July that the whole thing looked staged. Who started sections of the Wonderland Trail, the 93-mile route that circles the entire mountain, and understood by mile three that this place operates at a commitment level most destinations do not require.

The chest print says Mt. Rainier in distressed varsity lettering, Washington blocked below it in that worn athletic stamp. It looks like it has been somewhere. It fits cropped and close at true size, the kind of Y2K proportions that work with fleece, with denim, with whatever you were wearing when you decided to drive toward the mountain instead of away from it.

Size up and it goes easy and relaxed, good for the Ashford coffee stop on the way back, or layered under something heavier when the weather at Sunrise does what weather at 6,400 feet does without warning.

The Emmons Glacier is the largest glacier in the contiguous United States and it lives on Rainier's northeastern flank and most people who visit the park never see it up close, which means the people who do have a specific look about them afterward. Knowing. A little smug. Completely justified.

This is the souvenir for that look. For the women who went past the visitor center and kept going. And a genuinely good gift for anyone who has said "I need to get back to Rainier" at least once in the last calendar year.
