Some people treat politics like a team sport. Jerseys, chants, blind loyalty, zero accountability. Strange Gang is not selling you a jersey. This is a protest design. It’s anti-fascist, anti-Trump, anti-MAGA, and it shows its work in big angry blackletter.
The front reads “CHINGA TU PUTO MAGA” in Spanish, and the translation is not subtle: “Fuck your fuckin’ MAGA.” That’s the whole point. It doesn’t ask to be understood by the people it’s aimed at. It tells them to back up.
Vintage blackletter is doing something specific here. It’s old-world type turned into modern refusal. Light distressing like it’s already been outside, already seen a crowd, already survived someone trying to scrub it off. It’s a statement that looks like it’s been passed hand to hand, because that’s how movements live.
This is for immigrant rights supporters who are tired of being treated like a talking point. For people who hate ICE and don’t want “debate” while families get targeted. For the ones who carry snacks, chargers, extra masks, and someone’s phone number written on their arm. For the folks who document, translate, escort, donate, and keep showing up even when it’s exhausting.
Wear the hoodie when the weather turns mean and you still have somewhere to be. Wear the crewneck when you want a cleaner silhouette but the same message. Either way, it’s regular fit and midweight, made for layering over whatever gets you through the day.
This isn’t about being edgy. It’s about being clear. Anti-fascist means you don’t wait until it’s convenient. Anti-MAGA means you don’t pretend cruelty is just another opinion.
If someone gets offended, they can sit with that feeling. You’ve got better things to do than comfort the people who cheer for harm.
