Strange Allies made this for people who know Brooklyn is not one big soft-focus mood board. It is not just plants in windows and somebody pricing a tomato like it is a luxury item. Brooklyn is pressure, motion, loyalty, noise, style, side-eyes, fresh paint over old brick, and whole neighborhoods carrying their own code.
The front says Brooklyn in varsity athletic lettering, then drops "Every block has a story" underneath in retro script like it has already been settled. Because it has. Every block does. Some blocks hold family history so deep it practically hums through the sidewalk. Some hold new arrivals figuring it out in real time. Some smell like hot food, weed, rain, and ambition all at once.
This is for the people who understand that Bed-Stuy is not Park Slope, Bushwick is not Bay Ridge, and Flatbush is not Williamsburg no matter how hard somebody with a moving van tries to flatten it all into one lazy idea. Throw this on with beat cargos, dark denim, old sneakers, leather, mesh shorts, a bodega coffee in hand, and somewhere to be. Hoodie when the wind gets disrespectful.
