People who know Chicago know that the West Side has been producing things worth paying attention to long before anyone outside of it started paying attention. That's not a complaint. That's just how it goes when a part of a city is so fully realized, so completely its own thing, that it doesn't need external validation to keep moving.

Strange Allies made the West Side Chicago fleece for the people inside that reality.

The neighborhoods here have their own distinct identities stacked right next to each other. Austin, Humboldt Park, East Garfield Park, West Town, Galewood. Each one carries its own history and its own version of Chicago that doesn't always show up in the same places the rest of the city gets written about. The graphic on this fleece is not subtle and not trying to be.
