Description

For anti-fascists, progressives, protest people, and history readers who know resistance can be printed, posted, raised, and seen. Weiße Rose was a Munich student resistance group during WWII, known for anti-Nazi leaflets, underground organizing, and graffiti against Hitler’s regime. This flag says Weiße Rose with a rose below it in a vintage style and carries the legacy into the troubled times we're currently experiencing.

Available in black and white, with four size options. It works as a gift, a souvenir, a protest piece, and an homage to the original White Rose, while carrying an underground call for resistance into the present.

Fight With Purpose

Automatic donations to related charities

Fair ask. We’ve been creating anti-fascist and progressive art for over 25 years. Chicago made us, but now we’re full-time nomads making art and products that espouse our beliefs in human rights and social justice. We design things for the communities we come from and the ones we fight alongside, with a portion of sales donated to causes we support. We’re stubborn, loud, and allergic to neutrality. No fascists. No excuses.

Most of our items are available in a wide range of sizes. Additionally, most items are available in various styles. If you see a T-shirt design you like and want it on a hoodie, check the hoodies section or use the search bar. You can also customize the style and color of most designs in the custom section of our website.

Feel free to contact us if you can't find what you're looking for, and we'll do our best to make it happen.

We donate $1 of each item sold to non-profits and organizations supporting progressive, humanitarian, and justice-oriented causes around the world. All donations are automatically calculated and transferred to our charity partner every month to ensure compliance and timely processing.

We want you to love your Strange Gang goodies! If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you request a return for a refund or exchange within 7 days of receipt. Please note that all returns must be unworn and unwashed. Simply contact us at info@strangegang.com and we'll guide you through the process. Read more here. Important: Custom items cannot be returned for any reason, but damaged items can be replaced.

The Underground Rises

A flag can be a decoration if you let it behave. This one does not behave.

Weiße Rose was born in Munich during World War II, not as a branding exercise, not as a polite opinion club, not as safe little dissent approved by the people in charge. It was students and a professor deciding the Nazi machine did not get to own every wall, every classroom, every mouth, every future.

They wrote leaflets. They distributed them. They called out dictatorship, mass murder, militarism, obedience, and the moral sickness of looking away. Hans Scholl, Sophie Scholl, Christoph Probst, Alexander Schmorell, Willi Graf, and Kurt Huber are tied to that history because they refused to let fascism pass itself off as normal life.

And yes, they also did graffiti. Members of the White Rose painted anti-Nazi messages around Munich, turning walls into evidence that fear had not swallowed everyone whole. That part hits hard. The regime wanted total silence, clean surfaces, controlled language, and obedient citizens. The White Rose answered with paper, ink, paint, and nerve.

That is the pulse inside this Weiße Rose flag. The artwork says Weiße Rose with a rose beneath it in a vintage style, but the mood is not antique-shop cute. It is memorial and menace. It is homage to the original group and an underground call for resistance right now.

Strange Gang made this for anti-fascists, progressives, protest people, punks, students, historians, organizers, and anyone who knows nonviolent resistance can still be deeply subversive. A leaflet can travel. A wall can speak. A flag can turn a room, garage, studio, booth, window, dorm, venue, or protest space into a little refusal zone.

Fascism loves symbols, so steal the air back. Hang something that remembers the people who did not wait for perfect safety before choosing conscience.

The rose is not passive here. It is a warning with petals. A signal to the living. A reminder that history does not stay buried just because cowards need it quiet.
