The Saturday market pulls the community together in a way that feels like it's been happening forever, because it basically has. The west end opens up into dry, wide country that catches you off guard if you came expecting jungle.

The sea cliffs on the north shore are the tallest in the world. Papohaku Beach stretches three miles and is almost always empty. The mule ride down to Kalaupapa is one of the more humbling things you can do on any island in the Pacific. Moloka'i has a way of putting scale back into your body.

Strange Allies made this one for people who have felt that specific quiet. The ones who drove to the east end past fishponds that have been there since ancient Hawaii. Who watched the sun come up over Halawa Valley and had no words for it, which was fine, because Moloka'i doesn't need commentary.
