Description

Not everyone can find Kodiak on a map, and the people from there consider that a feature. This retro Y2K women's baby tee wears the name proudly: Kodiak in arched distressed collegiate lettering across the chest, Alaska pressed into a cracked stamp box below it, the whole print faded and weathered like it has already survived a few Kodiak winters without complaining. Size true for a cropped, fitted look or go up for something loose and lived-in. Available in black, heather, Kelly green, and navy blue.

The souvenir that actually holds up, built for women who know this island operates on its own terms entirely. Makes a gift that only means something to the right person, which is exactly the point.

Fair ask. We’ve been creating anti-fascist and progressive art for over 25 years. Chicago made us, but now we’re full-time nomads making art and products that espouse our beliefs in human rights and social justice. We design things for the communities we come from and the ones we fight alongside, with a portion of sales donated to causes we support. We’re stubborn, loud, and allergic to neutrality. No fascists. No excuses.

Most of our items are available in a wide range of sizes. Additionally, most items are available in various styles. If you see a T-shirt design you like and want it on a hoodie, check the hoodies section or use the search bar. You can also customize the style and color of most designs in the custom section of our website.

Feel free to contact us if you can't find what you're looking for, and we'll do our best to make it happen.

We donate $1 of each item sold to non-profits and organizations supporting progressive, humanitarian, and justice-oriented causes around the world. All donations are automatically calculated and transferred to our charity partner every month to ensure compliance and timely processing.

We want you to love your Strange Gang goodies! If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you request a return for a refund or exchange within 7 days of receipt. Always Island Tough

Kodiak is not trying to impress anyone. That is the first thing you notice. There are no billboards selling you a lifestyle, no influencer itineraries, no curated experience waiting at the end of a sponsored post. What there is: a working fishing port that processes more seafood than almost any other harbor in the country, a landscape so aggressive and beautiful it genuinely makes people reconsider their entire life plan, and a community of women who have been living unbothered and completely capable in one of the most remote island settings in the United States for generations. Strange Allies made this tee because Kodiak deserves to be on a chest somewhere in the lower 48 reminding people it exists and it is not soft about it.

Kodiak arches across the front of this baby tee in heavy distressed collegiate lettering, cracked all the way through like the print has been washed a hundred times and just keeps showing up. Alaska sits below in a weathered stamp box, four letters doing the full job of explaining where this is and what it means. The Y2K cut fits cropped and structured at your size, loose and unfussy when you go up, which maps perfectly onto the Kodiak approach to most things in life.

Wear it hiking the Barometer Mountain trail on a clear day when you can see everything and it still does not feel real. Wear it down to the docks in the morning when the fleet is coming in and the whole harbor smells like salt and work. Wear it to a Kodiak Bears high school game when the gym is loud and packed and everyone in that building has known everyone else their entire life. The Kodiak Island Borough is not a small idea. It just exists in a place most people will never reach, and the women who have been there carry it differently afterward.

For the Coast Guard families who did a tour on the island and left a piece of themselves behind in the fog somewhere between Pillar Mountain and Mill Bay Beach. For the commercial fisherman's daughter who grew up knowing how to read weather and people with equal accuracy. For the person on the mainland who spent one summer in Kodiak and has been quietly comparing every subsequent experience against it ever since.

A gift tied to Kodiak is not casual. It is specific and intentional and it tells the person receiving it that you actually paid attention. As a souvenir, nothing from the gift shops near the ferry terminal comes close to this.

Strange Allies. For the island-tested and the unimpressable.
