Fair ask. We’ve been creating anti-fascist and progressive art for over 25 years. Chicago made us, but now we’re full-time nomads making art and products that espouse our beliefs in human rights and social justice. We design things for the communities we come from and the ones we fight alongside, with a portion of sales donated to causes we support. We’re stubborn, loud, and allergic to neutrality. No fascists. Not Your Uncle's Gadsden Flag

Let’s be clear: this is not a snake. This is a bear. Not coiled, not hissing, not hiding in tall grass waiting to strike. This bear is loud. This bear is done being polite. This bear roars. And this time, the message isn’t for some redcoat fantasy, it’s for the boot currently on all our necks.

“Don’t Tread On Us” on this yellow flag does not mean what your libertarian uncle thinks it means. It’s not about taxes or trucks. It’s not about pretending oppression is being asked to wear a mask in a CVS. It’s about ICE raids and cop cities. It’s about book bans and billionaires. It’s about how fascism crawled in through the back door while everyone was distracted by brunch and blue checkmarks.

We redrew the bear from the California flag because the old one wasn’t angry enough. We made it roar. Because we’ve been civil. We’ve asked nicely. We’ve signed the petitions and made the calls and begged for crumbs while tech bros buy our cities and lawmakers sell our futures. And we’re still here. But we’re done waiting.

This one is for the folks in East LA, in Oakland, in Fresno, who’ve watched their neighborhoods be policed, stripped, and then sold back to them with a premium. It’s for anyone who’s ever been told to calm down while the world burns behind them. You don’t need permission to fight back. You need a bear with teeth and the refusal to go quietly.

Don’t tread on us. Not now. Not ever.
