Hats can be tricky to clean, so the best way to clean your caps is by hand-washing them. Machine-washing can ruin the shape and damage the embroidery. If you are going to wash it: Use a mild detergent (no bleach) in lukewarm water. Gently spot-clean with a damp cloth if needed. Avoid using brushes.

Fair ask. We’ve been creating anti-fascist and progressive art for over 25 years. Chicago made us, but now we’re full-time nomads making art and products that espouse our beliefs in human rights and social justice. We design things for the communities we come from and the ones we fight alongside, with a portion of sales donated to causes we support. We’re stubborn, loud, and allergic to neutrality. No fascists. No excuses.

Syntax for Resistance

There is a certain kind of person who sees bad code and bad politics as the same category of problem. Both spread, both break things, both require somebody with a backbone to stop pretending the error is harmless.

This Anti-Fascist Axiom hat is for that person.

Not the debate-club centrist who wants every bug report to include both sides. Not the guy in the comments asking for civility while the house is smoking. This is programmer humor for people who understand that some conditions are binary. Fascism is not a quirky variable. Nazi behavior is not a misunderstood feature. Some inputs deserve immediate rejection.

The joke lands because it looks like a tiny code block, but the message is not tiny at all. It turns anti-fascist politics into a deadpan command sequence, the kind of thing you might see taped near a desk, muttered in a group chat, or worn to a protest where everyone is tired but still showing up.

For coders, designers, tech workers, sysadmins, anti-ICE organizers, progressive weirdos, mutual aid people, punk-adjacent spreadsheet goblins, and anyone who knows that equality is not some optional plugin, this hat says the quiet part in a language the terminal can understand.

Strange Gang made this for the overlap between keyboard people and street people. The ones debugging a website at 2 a.m. and still managing to care about immigrants, trans people, neighbors, workers, and the strangers getting crushed by systems built to dehumanize them.

It is political comedy with teeth. A small wearable script for the moment when someone wants to dress hate up as discourse and you would rather not install that package.

Wear it to the farmers market, the picket line, the campus quad, the coffee shop where everyone has a laptop and one person is definitely writing a manifesto. Wear it when the world feels like a broken build and you still plan to push back.

Some hats are accessories. This one is a conditional statement with consequences.
