Fair ask. We’ve been creating anti-fascist and progressive art for over 25 years. Chicago made us, but now we’re full-time nomads making art and products that espouse our beliefs in human rights and social justice. We design things for the communities we come from and the ones we fight alongside, with a portion of sales donated to causes we support. We’re stubborn, loud, and allergic to neutrality. No fascists. No excuses.

Local Anti-Fascist Hoodie

A hoodie is a portable shelter. It’s also a portable opinion. This one is both, and it does not pretend neutrality is a personality.

Strange Gang made the International Union of Anti-Fascists series for the locals. Not the comment section heroes. The people who actually show up when the flyers go up, when the meeting runs long, when the street gets tense. This is an anti-fascist protest design, and it looks like it: a union-style badge with a megaphone for calling it out, broken chains for refusing control, and raised fists for the part where you stay together.

Then you stamp your own chapter onto it. Your city, your neighborhood, your country. Your local number. Area code, zip code, a year you still remember in your bones, a number that means something to your crew. It turns the hoodie into a roll call. A small declaration that says, we are from here, and we are not giving this place to fascists.

I want to see it on the walk from Pilsen to the train. On a late night in Bushwick. On wet cobblestones in El Raval. On a windy bridge in Neukölln. On South Philly steps. On a Seattle bus stop. On a Minneapolis corner where the air still carries a chant. Cities change fast, but the work stays the same.

Universities are part of the map too. Not because campuses are special, but because they’re loud intersections. DePaul and UIC after a teach-in. NYU and Columbia when the sidewalks fill up. UT Austin when the state tries its usual intimidation routine. University of Barcelona when students refuse to shut up. Someone learns the language of resistance in those spaces, then brings it back home.

This hoodie is for that loop. For the person who keeps a sharpie in their bag. For the friend who always has water. For the quiet one who still shows up. For the kid who asks why and won’t accept “because” as an answer.
