Seattle does not give you easy weather. That is the whole thing.
You are going to be cold. You are going to be wet. The November sky is going to sit low and gray over Capitol Hill on the day of the march, and you are going to show up anyway, because that is what being from here actually means.

Seahawks fans have stood in the cold and screamed until the stadium shook. Sounders supporters have marched through rain before a single match was played. The Seattle Rebel Alliance takes that same refusal to be stopped by weather and points it at something that matters beyond any season.
UW students know what a long walk across campus in January feels like when you still have two more stops after this one. Seattle U organizers know what it means to come straight from class to a community meeting and still be the one who stays until the last chair is folded.
This is for Rainier Valley, Columbia City, Georgetown, and every neighborhood in this city that has been doing the work since before anyone was covering it.
