Hats can be tricky to clean, so the best way to clean your caps is by hand-washing them. Machine-washing can ruin the shape and damage the embroidery. If you are going to wash it: Use a mild detergent (no bleach) in lukewarm water. Gently spot-clean with a damp cloth if needed. Avoid using brushes.

Chicago made us, but now we’re full-time nomads making art and products that espouse our beliefs in human rights and social justice. We design things for the communities we come from and the ones we fight alongside, with a portion of sales donated to causes we support. We’re stubborn, loud, and allergic to neutrality. No fascists. People either spend their whole lives trying to explain why they love it, or they stop explaining and just carry it around like a private condition. That is the lane this hat lives in. It does not perform some polished fantasy about the city. It just puts the words out there. Made in San Francisco. Clean. Direct. No begging.

That directness matters because this place gets romanticized into nonsense all the time.
