Stade Toulousain rugby, crêpes after a beach day in Saint-Malo, a bike ride along the Loire in Nantes: our trucker hat was made for French summers like that. Fabriqué en France, meaning made in France, runs across the structured foam front in embroidered retro script with 80s and 90s sportswear energy, with a mesh back for airflow and a snap closure that fits the whole crew. Hand it over as a gift to the friend who plans every holiday around the coast, or keep it as a souvenir of the long evenings when the sun refused to set.

Hats can be tricky to clean, so the best way to clean your caps is by hand-washing them. Machine-washing can ruin the shape and damage the embroidery. If you are going to wash it: Use a mild detergent (no bleach) in lukewarm water. Gently spot-clean with a damp cloth if needed. Avoid using brushes.

Fair ask. We’ve been creating anti-fascist and progressive art for over 25 years. Chicago made us, but now we’re full-time nomads making art and products that espouse our beliefs in human rights and social justice. We design things for the communities we come from and the ones we fight alongside, with a portion of sales donated to causes we support. We’re stubborn, loud, and allergic to neutrality. No fascists. No excuses.

Most of our items are available in a wide range of sizes. Additionally, most items are available in various styles. Fabriqué en France

France has never been one clean little postcard.

That is the first thing to get straight.

It is not only café tables, polished façades, and easy romance for other people’s cameras. It is argument, speed, ego, taste, boredom, beauty, smoke breaks, side streets, family history, class tension, football noise, train station chaos, and the absolute refusal to act impressed just because something is expensive. That is why this hat feels right. It does not beg. It states.

Fabriqué en France. Right there on the front.

The phrase hits differently than plain English would. It feels stamped, declared, owned. The custom retro script pulls from old sports design, but it does not read like fake nostalgia. It feels more like the kind of lettering that could have lived on a regional team jacket, an old club sign, a school banner, or something somebody kept for years because it still said who they were without trying too hard.

That matters.

Because being from France is not one narrow identity and never was. Paris is not Marseille. Marseille is not Lyon. Lyon is not Lille. Toulouse is not Nice. Saint-Denis is not Bordeaux. The country shifts by city, by suburb, by accent, by block, by history, by who raised you and what part of the map taught you how to move. That tension is part of the charm and part of the mess.

Wear it at home, wear it abroad, wear it when you are missing the language, the friction, the food, the pace, the noise, or the attitude. It makes a strong gift. It works as a souvenir. Mostly, though, it feels like a small public reminder that where you are from still sits on your shoulders.
