Florida is not a clean story. That is why people stay obsessed with it.

Real Florida is humidity at midnight, lizards on the wall, gas station coffee, sudden rain that feels personal, old motel signs, college football brain rot, and the exact smell of sunscreen, pavement, and ocean funk colliding in one parking lot.

Strange Allies made this for people who understand that Florida is beautiful, ridiculous, exhausting, magnetic, and impossible to explain to anyone who has only visited once and thinks they know the place.

The design says Florida in distressed retro athletic lettering, with The Sunshine State underneath. It looks like something that should have existed forever. Something found in a drawer in Tampa, stolen from a cousin in Jacksonville, or bought on impulse somewhere between Orlando and the coast because it felt more honest than every polished tourist trap around it.

This is for the Gainesville crowd with University of Florida history in the family, for Miami people who carry the city like weather, for Orlando locals who know the town is much stranger than outsiders think, and for Tallahassee people who had Florida State woven into their weekends from childhood. UCF people, USF people, same deal. Different corners of the same giant fever dream.

And of course the sports wiring is in there too. The Dolphins, Heat, Magic, Buccaneers, Jaguars, Rays, Lightning, Panthers, Marlins. All those loyalties, all that regional chest-thumping, all that sweat and yelling and sunburn and somebody talking too loudly in a jersey at the wrong time. That is Florida too. So are the road trips, the causeways, the inland weirdness, the strip malls, the mangroves, the springs, the neighborhoods with stories people only tell after midnight.

This is a gift for the person who moved away and still says no one understands the weather back home. It is a souvenir for the one who came down for school or work and got claimed by the place before they realized what was happening.

Florida does that. It gets in your blood, ruins your standards, and makes everywhere else feel a little too quiet.
