Fair ask. We’ve been creating anti-fascist and progressive art for over 25 years. Chicago made us, but now we’re full-time nomads making art and products that espouse our beliefs in human rights and social justice. We design things for the communities we come from and the ones we fight alongside, with a portion of sales donated to causes we support. We’re stubborn, loud, and allergic to neutrality. No fascists. No excuses.

I don't see the style I want.

Most of our items are available in a wide range of sizes. Additionally, most items are available in various styles. What causes do you give to?

Some flags are about nostalgia. This one is about the present tense.

The Chicago Anti-Fascist Union flag is anti-fascist, a protest design, and a public statement for people who are done pretending hate is just background noise. It is for the ones who believe solidarity should be visible, not hidden in a group chat or saved for one march a year.

Strange Gang built this piece as part of our anti-fascist union series, the ongoing fake international union for very real people fighting fascism, authoritarianism, and everyday cruelty. The Chicago chapter marks itself with Chicago and Local 312, because this city does not need help being loud and 312 already carries that local weight.

The graphic puts a megaphone, broken chains, and raised fists inside the union emblem, with a lightly distressed finish that feels like something carried, used, and meant. Not polished. Not sanitized. Not made to match a beige couch. Made to signal where you stand.

This belongs in apartments and houses from Pilsen to Rogers Park, Logan Square to Bridgeport, Hyde Park to Uptown, Albany Park to Avondale. It works in windows, on walls, in garages, at pop ups, and anywhere people gather to plan, vent, organize, and keep each other from losing it.

It also hits around UIC, DePaul, UChicago, Loyola, and Northwestern, where students, workers, and neighbors are constantly dealing with the gap between what this country says and what it does.

And because this is Chicago, the energy makes sense next to Cubs and White Sox loyalties, Bulls history, Bears heartbreak, Blackhawks debates, and Sky pride. Different uniforms, same city habit of picking a side and showing up.
